We actually don’t know what being a GM for the Rams involves. Your job description above is mere speculation. It’s unclear what degree of control he has versus what is Fisher or Demoff’s call.
The one thing we know for certain is under his domain is acquiring talent. In that regard, a strong argument has been made that he’s doing a very good job at that. The scope of your original question only pertained to acquiring talent.
Now that you’ve been shown that there is a lengthy list of talented players acquired, you seem to be changing the issue to other areas that none of us are sure if it’s under his control or not. Then you attempt to dismiss his contribution by using our collective lack of knowledge on his role by saying he’s just filling a seat. I couldn’t disagree more. If the one job we KNOW he has is acquiring talent, and there is talent acquired, then as far as we know, he is doing a lot more than just filling a seat.
