I am with Rams43 and his TheChina(Doll)Syndrome.
Seriously, I think Paul Boudreau said it best....."once the guys are in my charge, I don't give a fook whether they got here via First Round Draft pick or picked offa the Waiver Wire. I've got to work up the best OLine I can to give this team the best chance to win.
So if I keep "journeymen" and cut high draft picks.....sobeit....we are here to win football games!"
.....or words to that effect (and yeah, sometimes I do take some poetic license in my quotings okay!)
Anyhoo, the point I am making with reference to Goff is this....
We need to stop thinking about him as that pile of Draft Treasure we surrendered to Tennessee to get the guy.
Goff is just another player on this 2016 Rams team, brought here to help us win games.
For him to start showing improvement......he needs to get in there and play. More than that, he needs to go out there and LEAD....because that is what QBs in the NFL do, eh!!! THEY LEAD!
We cannot baby Jared Goff. We need to put him out there and it's time to show what he's got. Jon Gruden runs a nice entertaining QB Camp Show, but there are never any big behemoths in full gear there to smack the star QBs around. Put Goff out there against the Vikings seconds and thirds, and let him show us what he's got.
To make an omelette, first you gotta break a couple of eggs.
Unless of course you are in Romania, where the Romanian Cookbook says....
"To make an omelette, first you gotta steal a chicken!! :-)
Play Goff.....let the kid learn!!
