But...the dynamic of fielding Gurley and Tavon at the same time builds an important element of deception into play design and the chance (which the Rams took good advantage of) of using one or the other as a decoy on given plays.
Besides, to offer an example of the logic at work in your argument, what would you really be saying if you (for instance) claimed that Bruce would have Hakim's 8 TDs in 99 if you had not drafted Hakim?
All that makes me think is, cool, I like the idea that they have both then. It deepens and multiplies what you can do with your attack.
