A couple of big fights broke out.....Not in full pads, just shoulder pads, helmets and shorts.
First one was Benny Cunningham, took a short run, went head on with a corner, bounced off and just jogged towards middle of field to finish off play, got to Ogletree and then AO just lowered his shoulder and gave Benny the biggest cheap shot I have seen in a long time. All hell breaks loose.....Benny walks back to offensive side of field and slams helmet down....he was pissed at AO.
You will see it all on hard knocks next week for sure.
Looks to me like Duke Williams is in Rams plans....Running plays with #1's. Had a great catch on crossing route designed for him. I really think he makes final roster.
Watched QB's and WR's exclusively because my daughter loves Goff (like all of our daughters and wives do.)
Goff got the lion's share of reps with the #1's as Keenum looked on. Mannion/Thompson worked with 2's and 3's. During QB drills....Fellas, we have QB's that throw beautiful balls. Goff and Mannion just nice and tight spirals. Keenum is no slouch either, and I really like what he does. He is relaxed and goes about his duties and you can tell he's a leader. We are in good hands at QB position.
Spruce and Marquez are walking wounded at practice again....Hope Nelson Spruce is not one game and done but, to make the squad he needs to get that knee brace off and practice.
WR's as I see it so far...Austin, Britt, Cooper, Quick and Williams.........McRoberts/Thomas are neck and neck.....Spruce may start season on IR.
