This time last year I thought he was going to be last in that three-way competition for the job (and probably get cut). He was steady last year and now seems to have improved.

You get bumps in performance at center from Barnes, from Robinson at LT, from the 2nd year guys like Brown, Wichmann and Havenstein- and collectively the unit as a whole could gain a lot more respect this year.

And Barnes is under contract through 2017...
