Fisher wanted to get behind so the test for the 3rd stringers was better??????
I don't know why or how coaches treat preseason. When he was with the Titans, Fisher seemed to use it to try to embarrass the opposition.
Nowadays, not so much.
I will say that the Rams over the last number of seasons, even before Fisher, just don't seem ready when the regular season hits. That's a problem. The team has a history of keeping things simple and basic, then install their packages by the 3rd or 4th game. Even that I can't prove, but it just seems that way to me.
While I enjoy this win as a Rams fan, and feel good for the LA fans who showed up in record numbers, the concern is also there for me, but I have to realize that not all of the starters were out there, especially Gurley, and the routes were also kept simple.
I just hoping for everything to fall into place week one.
