Fisher is the king of downplaying things. Looking forward to hard knocks and hearing how great Goff is playing and then seeing Keenum start game 1 anyway.
Goff could be doing well and still not, in the eyes of the staff, be ahead of an experienced vet by game one. So really there's no contradiction there.
