this preseason so we could see more of him. I don't get all the Wolf love. Nice kid...can scramble a bit...leadership capabilities, but limited in the throws he can make.
Perkins clearly, IMO, seems to have more potential AND talent than the Wolf. Perkins was dropping dimes last night. He threw the ball well. Had nice touch when he had to and was able to fire a bullet when needed. His scrambling was better than the Wolf too...and he didn't get hurt when getting hit like the Wolf.
I have no idea why McVay is so gaga over the Wolf, I really don't. He is clearly limited in the throws he can make and might be a bit small for the NFL. There's reason nobody else wanted him.
In the NFL, if your playing your #2 QB, you are probably not going to win much anyway but having said that, give me the guy that has the most upside and potential to be a #1.
Give those reps to Perkins and let's see what happens. I think we all saw the best that the Wolf can do. Does anyone actually think he could be a #1 for ANY team? IMO, keeping the Wolf as the #2 is a mistake. If we let Perkins go or become available for another team to "steal" him from us would be a shame.
I would've loved to see Perkins and the Wolf battle it out in preseason but we all know that won't happen. It seems like the Wolf will get a free pass to the #2 job again without doing very much to prove he deserves it.
Even a blind man could see Perkins clearly has more potential than the Wolf!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
