Does Snead get a pass because of 2 draft picks?

I see a lot of praise / support for Snead on this board. Even those that dog Fisher seem to separate the two when it comes to blame and advocate for retaining Snead and dumping Fisher as if the problems were all coaching issues. Les had picked two outstanding players with two high draft picks. But even in the dark days of Martz drafts we were able to select the phenomenal talent of Steven Jackson. After 4 losing seasons I think it's fair to ask if maybe Snead is part of the problem. We've had a fair number of picks to work with and free agent dollars to spend, but the results on the field have been poor. We're not a bottom feeder, to be sure, and we have several 'solid' starters, mostly when you look at the defensive side of the ball. But solid to fair does not propel a team to the top of the division. Solid does not win playoff games. Unless the Rams miraculously turn things around this year, I'd like to see both Fisher and Snead shown the door.
