Ok. I apologize for the snarkiness, but I get upset for the guy because Rams fans are constantly casting shade on him.
He made the 53 and was not traded which had probably upset a few around here. He may have a future in kick returns and he may not.
I understand that he is small and is certainly on the lower edge of NFL players in size (his official weight is listed at 165 lbs). That is one of the reasons I back him because he is an underdog and he gets minimal support from the fan base.
I wish people would give him a chance to prove himself instead of making declaration that he a lemon or whatever.
Anyway, Go Rams!
Here's the deal... Your opinion and my opinion on Tutu doesnt matter. It's what Coach McVay's opinion is that does matter.
So far McVay has tried Tutu at a few places on the field. Apparanently McVay thinks there are better players at those same positions or Tutu would be on the field playing one of them. McVay is either unable or unwilling to come up with a special package of plays specifically for Tutu. Or if he has a package, he's been unwilling to showcase it to this point which keeps Tutu off the field. McVay has added additonal players to the WR room annually which has kept Tutu off of the field.
I can't help but say that Tutu is not on the "lower edge of NFL players in size", he almost certainly is at the very bottom.
Not sure why you've latched on to this kid to where you feel like it's a duty for you to defend all things "Tutu"? Everyone is entitled to think what they want, including you. For me, I've pulled for the kid since the day they way over-drafted him. I think pretty much everyone on this board wanted to see him succeed and provide positive impact on the field. After all, we are Rams fans.
