Wait a second Goat. First of all, criticizing McVay for his handling of the Goff release / trade is not a diatribe. It's was a persistent criticism, by many, but I don't recall anyone every going hard negative on him. Second, McVay himself admitted he should have handled things better. Many of us agree with McVay's self-reflection. That's what a good man does. I'd say for the better part of this last year not too many people have commented on it. Most Ram's fans, including me, thought that trade made us a much better team despite the background.
Like you said, it's a business and I know first hand that business dealings are sometimes sloppy and unkind. That's part of life.
