I think McVay coulda handled things better but he didn't. However, McVay is the captain of the ship and he's proven to be a very good captain. Nobody can argue against that.
Sometimes good decisions are made with various and flawed, or inaccurate, motives and reasoning. That's just life. Their relationship went south and, as you stated, people sometimes need a do-over.
Nobody should be concerned for Goff anymore. I just read that Brinks had so send out an extra-large armored car to help move all that cash from Ford field to Goff's bank.
