The point being where did the rumors originate from?

IMO they originated in the media after they heard he wanted guaranteed money...they started on the "it's because they want a QB in the draft"...The very people who called for the RAMS to get a QB, they must get a QB, they must trade up to get a QB......that's the only place the rumor started to try and get legs.

The RAMS IMO were never going to get a QB, they never entered into that area....it was never going to happen. Matthew doesn't want to move, he's entrenched as the man. He stays healthy for 90-95% of the season(s) he'll be here for his contract time +. IMO he can miss 1 up to 3 games in a year and stay on.(that 3rd missed game is a sit out game for play offs).

Albany has it figured out, it's not added money it's just guaranteeing the money of the contract and add a year or 2 to that.....
