AREER: Dedich has appeared in 35 games in his career, starting 20 times (10 games at right guard, 6 games at left guard and 4 games at center). He has made 1 tackle.
2023: Dedich, who has seen action all across the offensive line, returns to play center as a redshirt senior in 2023.
2022: Dedich was a vital piece to the Trojan offensive line while starting and appearing in 13 games (all but Arizona State) as a redshirt senior in 2022. He started 11 games at right guard, 1 game at left guard and 1 game at center (filling in for the starter, Brett Neilon, after he suffered a season ending injury). He was named to the Pro Football Focus All-American Third Team and was an All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention. He helped the Trojan offensive line unit to be selected as a Joe Moore Award Semifinalist. Per PFF, he was the No. 7 graded guard in the nation in 2022.
2021: Dedich, who was available to play both offensive guard and center, saw action—primarily at guard—in all 12 games as a redshirt junior in 2021. He started the last 4 games (Arizona State, UCLA, BYU, California) at left guard. He made a tackle in 2021 (versus Oregon State). He made 2021 Pro Football Focus All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and won USC’s Co-Lifters Award.
2020: Dedich appeared in 2 games (Arizona State and Arizona) as a redshirt sophomore center and guard in 2020. He came in at center when starter Brett Neilon was injured and then started there at Arizona.
2019: Dedich was a backup center as a redshirt freshman in 2019 until moving into the starting role for the last 2 regular season games (California and UCLA) when Brett Neilon was injured. Overall in 2019, he appeared in 7 games (BYU, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, Arizona State, California, UCLA).
2018: Dedich, a first-year freshman center in 2018 who enrolled at USC in the spring of 2018 after graduating a semester early from high school, saw brief action as a blocking back in USC’s opener (UNLV). He did not play the rest of the year and was able to redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: He made 2017 PrepStar All-American, Max Preps All-American Second Team, USA Today All-California First Team, All-CIF Division 5, Los Angeles Times All-Area and Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area First Team as a senior 2-way lineman (primarily center on offense) at Chaparral High in Temecula (Calif.). In 2017, he had 15 tackles, with 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble on defense.
As a 2016 junior, he made Cal-Hi Sports All-State Junior First Team and Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area Second Team.
He also played soccer at Chaparral, with a 1.333 goals against average as a goalkeeper.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology at USC in the fall of 2021. He is now pursuing his master’s degree in Dietetics and Food Service with a 3.40 GPA.
