Don't think for a second that millionaires don't include taxes and cost of living into their calculations about where to live and work.
I suspect that the time is coming quickly that teams in super high tax states like California, New York, and Illinois are going to say that there needs to be an offset in their cap to account for it.... because the players are going to.... especially the really desirable FAs.
Take that cool over 1/2 mil that is owed in Illinois for every $10 mil in compensation, and now think about Josh Allen's 150 mil.... 15 times that amount. It comes to nearly $8million!! Do that in Miami, Tampa or Jacksonville, and it's a fraction of that.
This isn't judgment, it's just reality.
