Two points that that author alludes to:
Kyren Williams isn't always available. He missed 9 games in '22 with an ankle injury and another 5 games last year with an ankle sprain.
There was a drop-off last year when KY subbed out.
I think Corum addresses both issues. And yes, Corum is compared favorably to KY. That means the Rams don't have to adjust their game plan or play calling when Corum comes in.
And this is my thought: KY is a free agent after the 2025 season. Personally, I don't think the Rams will be interested in giving a RB -
any RB - a second contract. So Corum could be RB1 in 2026.
