This guys is exactly what we needed to solidify our offense. Williams is great, much better than we could have ever dreamed of but he runs hard and so far in 2 seasons he has missed time due to injuries.
The Dropoff has been huge when Williams gets hurt and it costs us precious games. Corum has a similar running style and while he doesn't give the defense that much of a different look he can be plugged in and be very similar to Williams. While he has some milage on him he also has proven production and runs similar to Williams.
New offensive Line: Last year we finally seemed to make the transition to a power running game due to the changes on the offensive line and a power blocking system. The changes we have made this year at center and guard take the power game to a whole new level. Corum is perfect for this type of system and is a big big safety net in case Williams goes down. We might not miss a beat.
This is a really down year for the RB and we got a good one that fits our needs perfectly. At least that is how I see it.
I really love this draft.
