Close to that anyway. Also - Penix came back from the injury well, very well, and showed great talent. No doubt teams were wary of his injury history BUT... you can't just ignore his talent. I'd guess more than a few teams considered him among the top QB's this year in talent.... Atlanta one of them.

I think the big stink about this choice is mostly "money" related? Seems so to me. And one thing I've learned is that football accountants are creative. Atlanta may have thought this out very well. - JamesJM
