I've not noticed any consistency with respect to which of these two players will come off the board next behind Dallas Turner.
Is there any consensus amongst the board's draft experts?
Given that the Whiners are in our division, I like that I've heard that Verse is stout against the run. But I've also heard that he's not a natural 260-lbs and that the muscle-building that he's had to engage in to maintain that weight has led to him being a little stiff (which might cost him that fraction of a second to get by an NFL OT...to the Q
.
This isn't much of an issue for Latu, though, as he seems to carry his weight naturally and has been described as being "bendy" to get around those OT's. But I'm concerned about questions about him being able to set the edge (and, of course, his medical).
The motors on both are said to run hot.
Now, if I had to choose, I guess I'm looking for the guy who can get to the QB fastest (I mean...it IS a QB-driven league). But man...Shanny doesn't seem to care about that and has no problem hitting "rinse & repeat" with the likes of Trent Williams.
Anyone have any thoughts on these two?
