the need some have to try and find the next what ever.....instead of seeing, enjoying, being surprised by an action or deed or whatever it must be replicated. It took over 60 years to do what Puka did and this guy is looking for the next one in the following year.
Puka came out of now where, way over did anything even remotely thought possible and this guy has found another one? Doesn't that in a way lessen what Puka achieved? It does in my book.
I think it is more of a fantasy football thing to look for gems and provide comparisons to current or past players. Since dynasty fantasy football is more my thing than good solid football knowledge like most in here, I understand the million guys that do these things for clicks and links. However, with that said, I was extremely impressed by Puka pre-draft last year and cheered when the Rams selected him. However I would have drafted him no matter what team selected him.
Javon Baker is indeed a close comp of Puka in many ways and I wouldn't hesitate to draft him this year onto my team. There are more highly rated WR's in the draft but like Puka, he has a little of the "it" factor that is rare. And my comp to Puka last year was Kupp who I also drafted as a rookie. He's a McVay type WR.
