They need to replace two starters --- Donald and Williams.
Turner will take Donald's snaps. But, who takes Turner's snaps/
Turner backed yp Brown III at nose and played next to Donald in passing situations.
Williams? Seems like you can replace him with a guy like him and that could be
later in draft. But -- he didn't play passing downs ---so that might be a mid-round guy
that were listed.
But, they might want an actual impact player to fill in for Williams, a guy who can play
all three downs, someone who can play next to Turner in passing downs
Or---they could get a Jonah Williams type plus a quicker, pass-rushing guy like
a Hall or Wingo, etc... one of each.
Jourdan said Rams want to build from inside out ... but also want and edge ---
Of course Desjuan may be the fill-in for Williams or may be the fill in for Turner
but as much as I like him, he was a 5-7 or UDFA kind of guy so, to expect too much
might be a mistake.
Would love for him to step up, but he's never going to be elite, best case might just be
a solid starter.
