Yeah these things are goat ropes

I concede that being there and seeing how the ball comes out of their hand and how low they can hang it and still get it there on those deep outs are powerful things to witness. But for teams I'd hope it's just a "ok he's got enough arm" block check rather than something that nudges you one way or the other. A nice night out away from the owner for the GM maybe, where they can pound a dozen or so at the hotel bar after an early dinner.
