Naturally a top level college QB can throw all kinds of accurate passes, to probably every part of the field, when they are throwing against air, with no pass rush, in a rehearsed environment to guys they've practiced with.
The over the top hype of how great they looked blah blah blah is so old. Every year its the same thing, and every year we're lucky if 4 guys can make NFL careers out of their talent, and usually of those 4, 1 or 2 aren't even 1st round guys. Sometimes, the non-1st round guys are the best of the bunch.
In some ways I feel so for these young men. Especially the 1st round guys. The expectations are so high, and results are expected so fast, that mostly they are set up for failure. These guys are judged after their rookie seasons, and often they are on bad teams to start with.
Sigh. The world just goes round and round, doesn't it?
