Clowney is perpetually signing one year deals but if he can show something this year (if we get him) his window and our current contending window match up. Adding Clowney and Latu to monster Zero's sophomore season (Byron Young) is a decent set of edge rushers since I am assuming Hoecht is bulking back up and putting his hand in the dirt.

I couldn't agree more, a line with Clowney, Latu (Dallas/Verse) and Young would be good enough on paper to win with.
If we truly are in a super bowl window, signing Clowney just seems to be the vet piece that makes a lot of sense right now.
I understand Reddick could be traded for but signing Clowney without giving up anything is just too tempting!
