I want to keep Wentz, he is a close approximation to Stafford and has value to the team, in a small package of plays even when Stafford is healthy. That being said just like the Rams didn't want to wait on Shelton and lose out on other option ala Von Miller situation. IF Wentz situation continues to drag on, why not visit the option of trading a 4th round pick to the Bears for Justin Fields. Cons not as polished a passing prospect as Wentz. Pros Fields can do the same small package of plays that Wentz can ala Taysom Hill. Another plus he is on a cheap rookie deal, The Rams had Bryce Perkins on the roster as a backup QB, Fields is a much better version of everything Perkins brought to the team. I know the Bears want more than say a fourth but it is rumored they might have to take a 5th or 6th for him. If we can't nail down Wentz, trading a 4th for Fields to clean up backup QB position fills a need and is a vastly better option than Stetson Bennett. If the Bears are considering a 5th I'd be ok with the Rams going as high as a 4th.
