If someone (hopefully a team with a high 2nd round pick) signs Alaric Jackson to a longer term contract the Rams do not want to match, take the 2nd round pick and the 5mil "saved", add to it whatever amount you need (PFF says 7-10mil/yr for Smith, but that seems too low to me) and
sign Tyron Smith for 3 years. The resulting OL would be the best in the league.
The offense would be nearly impossible to stop.
If not, Jackson plays LT and go sign
Mack (edge), if like most think he becomes available tomorrow or
CB FullerI'm not sure if they have $ to do it, but it all sounds nice.
Oh and with the 1st and two 2nds, we get three young starters on D/RB/WR/S - pick 3 from among: Latu, Payton Wilson, Nubin, Penix, Adonai Mitchell, McConkey, Fiske, Chop, Brooks, Cooper, Haynes, etc.
