Is that really for the 1st time in years (even with what Sean has done) in his 6 years, the RAMS look to have an offense that can dictate what they want to do. The line is big enough now that if 2 yards are needed they don't have to rely on a jet sweep, or a short slant to get it. If they want to go deep they have the beef to keep him clean for the route(s) to progress.
I understand the need for some added muscle on the D, but I have been in the mind that these FA Edge guys are just too much money. I think that bodes well as the draft comes because many of these teams that would have been looking there have taken care of it in FA and the RAMS will have a decent chance to get 1 of the top ones. Sign Spoon and the real need for a 1st rd. CB will be moot. Then they have 2nd through 7 to go for BPA. They could even go LT in the 2nd rd. if a guy falls there in their lap.
They have been very strategic thus far, I even think they assumed several of these moves by other teams.
