An article with actual numbers was posted later in the day. and it also points out that the number that is estimated now, is not necessarily all the money they have to work with. We were about middle of the pack for space this year, I believe. There are some awful teams with real funny money - I think the Commanders have like 90mil. Having a giant bucket of cap space doesn't mean you're going to add a bunch of superstars and contend for a title - it usually means none of your draft selections over the years were good enough to earn big contracts and probably your team has been mismanaged for years.
