JJ McCarthy: Young & raw. He's hard to read for me.

I'm not sold on him after watching his combine performance and his 2023/2024 season highlights. (college football world champion)

I'm not saying the combine film (or his best throws of his 2023 & 2024 playoff highlight reels) make me an expert on him.

As of 03/08/2024, I'm not selecting him with the 19th overall pick should he even be available with all the hype and momentum he's gotten since the combine.

If I'm on the Rams brass draft staff, I'm passing on him as of today.

I wouldn't be stunned if McVay and company pulled the trigger and handed the draft card to the podium if McCarthy is on their radar.

I could be way off because he's so young and played on a run first Michigan team and he's barely able to drink a beer at a sports bar. (Born January 20, 2003 (age 21).

I need to see some more film on Mr. McCarthy when I get bored as the draft looms closer.
