Spoon was actually a top corner last year until he started getting banged up toward the end. He was tops in completion percentage,tops in INT's for the team, was a calming effect to a bunch of youngsters. Did you ignore his 1st 3/4's of the season and just call him out on his last 1/4?
How you can look at an overall group and not see the performance of one of that group is amazing. It's called missing the trees in viewing the forest....He would be a solid resign and you pair him with a good draft choice (high pick) and you have a improvement in the backend.
Johnson and or Fuller were far from being albatrosses on the back end....but I also think that Yeast, Taylor and Lake are the real future of the safety roster.
