I'm not saying that playing alongside AD makes you a better player. But it's pretty clear that historically "solid" players someway, somehow morph into very good players when they get a chance to line up next to him. They then get paid to play elsewhere...and then (mysteriously) morph back into the "solid" players they were pre-AD.
I don't believe that I'm the only one who's noticed this and I suspect that the voters took this into account.
