Always gotta remember who is doing the voting and what their criteria is.
First, they are lazy. So the real award goes to the 1st round pick who did the best as a rookie.
Second, they are populists. They simply pick who they like.
Third, they don't follow the game deeply enough to know more than the average fan knows.... and that ain't much.

But I'd like to know your thoughts on a couple of things:
A) Do you believe that Turner's productivity would have been more, less, or the same without Aaron Donald playing alongside him?
B ) Do you believe that Will Anderson's productivity would have been more, less, or the same if he had Aaron Donald playing alongside him?
Rightfully or wrongfully, I think that a lot of voters take these types of things into account. I know that I do.
