I prefer Allen as well. But like you said...I don't think Jax is gonna let him get away.
What I'm doing is looking at the production Edges like Dante Fowler and Leonard Floyd gave Jax and Chicago (both of 'em - squat) and then their production once the AD-effect graced them - Fowler 11.5 sacks in 2019 and 9.6 avg. sacks for Floyd.
Without AD (and any real help), Burns has produced 9.2 sacks per year. He may not be Josh Allen, but pair him up with AD (who still requires a double-team) and an emerging Byron Young and Kobie Turner? We're in business. Not just next year, but beyond without AD.
