I think the same thing happened with the eagles in 2022...they were tops, this year they stunk it up....The ravens rose to the top in 2023.....In both spots of rising Wilson was there....That's why I wanted Wilson, I considered him from his last coaching spot....There were other guys on that staff that also I wanted over Shula because my thinking process was what Wilson brings must be also a part of the others on that Staff......
Now it's Shulas' game and now I want to see what he has gleaned from his DC's before him, and also see what he has seen from having been involved in all aspects of the D since 2017......what he saw could have (if he were at the time) in charge of decision making. Now he is, hope he modifies and doesn't stay static with the D plan....Not just continue from were they left off and be status quo, change it up without throwing it all out.
I think Shula will put his stamp on the scheme that McVay wants ... it will be vast majority Fangio but it will also be tweaked by Shula .. .what he likes, what he thinks will work, what ner players come in ...
