If he does his (old school) 2 lost fumbles and 2 Int's and folds under pressure it will be sad to watch.
Not too fair a comment. That scenario you use, 2 INT and 2 lost fumbles happened just twice and one was with Lions.
Byt, let's look at the opposite - games with 2 TD and 0 fumbles = 39, 20 with the Rams.
I think trading for Stafford proved to be brilliant. But at same time I will respect Goff and wish him well.
I know you were probably exaggerating to make a point, what we feel we saw doesn't match up with what actually happened. So I am guessing you actual point was Goff has a weakness vs pressure and that is probably accurate.
I only mentioned the 2 Int's & 2 lost fumbles because many of us Rams fans have seen him do it more than a few times.
And yes you are correct, you guessed my actual point.
Goff has a weakness vs pressure but he's streaky and he's damn hot right now.
The Rams JV defense shut him and the Lions down to 3 points in the second half of their wildcard thriller.
Goff crushed our hearts when he stepped up and passed for a first down to run out the clock on the last drive.
He was clutch!
He out played Stafford in the clutch moments of that game.
And I'm not on board thinking Nacua deserved a pass interference call like many Rams fans complained about late in the game.
If the game was in LA, the Rams probably get the call but I wouldn't of thrown a flag if I was a ref. It's not like he was tackled and blasted well before the ball got to him. Just my opinion.
It was a big moment in the game but not the reason the Rams lost.
The Lions beat the Rams fair and square in my opinion. Jared Goff put the game away with his arm. It still hurts but It's reality.
