But what does "belly up" or "choke" mean to the people using those words? There were 14 QB's in the playoffs when they started. Only 4 are left. Did the other 10 choke or go belly up? Why aren't they still in it?
If the Lions Oline is dominated by 9ers pass rush then any QB would struggle with that. But if Goff has even average time to throw, I'm confident he'll play well.
That doesn't mean the Lions win. The other guys get paid, too, right?
What if the Lions win? Should Shanahan be fired? Brock Purdy replaced? The 9ers defense all traded away?
Why is the standard for Goff set higher? Win THIS game or else?
