I see your point - but I'm considering DM's chemistry and knowing the system from game one.
I'm not going to set an upper limit on his value - yet - and if he gets offered a mint to leave, which I doubt, then it's plan B. There are always the manipulatives that Demoff and Snead can write into the contract - bonuses, incentives, and things I don't understand.
