you are absolutely right, the Rams have depth and they need to keep that depth
Noteboom is going to get cut unless he renegotiates that contract. Will he want to stay and be a rotational guy for the Rams? My gut says no but to your point, he is a fantastic rotational depth player... and yes in 2020 and again in the 2021 playoffs he filled in for Big Whit against the Bucs in both Ram wins
Jackson man he exceeded just about everyone's expectations. It did not start out great. Avila bailed him out a bunch early and then he got dinged and came back and struggled. By 3-6 I thought we needed a LT... but then he came back after the bye and he played strong. Just night and day from those first 8 games The 2nd round tender sounds right for him
Avila was a nice add of course and it goes without saying that Dotson was an absolute monster. Havs had his best season that I can remember and IMO that was due to Dotson. Thats a nice pair right there
Allen could be cut but his salary isn't unmanageable and again is a great backup center. You need someone to get you through a couple of games?, he can be that. Shelton like Jackson just played so much better in that 7-1 stretch but if he demands too much maybe the Rams move over Avila over and draft a guard. Heck how about they go out and sign Connor Williams from the Dolphins the top FA center in 2024. He plays in the same offense down there. Now that would be something right! McClendon struggled in his only appearance but maybe he just needs seasoning.
I think finally the Rams might have it going on with their oline... the coach from NE has had a great impact
