I think he has done an excellent job. The main problem I see remains to be timing. If he leaves now, we have a lot of choices for staff. If he leaves later the choices diminish. I'm almost thinking (pure speculation) that McVay assumes he will finally get his gig. Maybe Henderson was not led to believe he was not going to get DC so he left. Pure speculation. However with so many vacancies McVay etal probably are assuming Morris is gone and trying to get a jump on things (perhaps including Staley).
It is a compliment and curse that we have to house clean every year and usually late so we have to scramble for talent.
Also btw the Rams are very interested in the Michigan QB.
