First I think he has done a very good job with the Rams
1) Won the SB with all-star defense
2) In 2022 had a middle-of-the-road defense without Donald for half the year and that was the only reason why they were even in games last year
3)This year coached a team that... I'll be kind is extremely challenged on the back end they overachieved beyond what any of us expected
He's been an interim coach previously... its time to give him a shot. I think he is as deserving as other coordinators with similar or lesser resumes
I also like the fact that if he moves on we get two thirds!!
The con you mentioned is valid no doubt... its seems like McVay has unfairly had to deal with that year after years since 2017
