for sure ... but I'm pretty sure the Rams felt like they didn't have the back end to hold up

I mean what I noticed immediately is the Rams did not allow any of the over the top plays that they had been allowing and that Goff loves to take. So it appears they sacrificed pressure to prevent those big plays downfield.

Morris adjusted before the half too... recall the Rams forced the Lions into their first punt just before the half

The Rams had at least 6 possessions that they could have taken the lead... and they could not do it

I think some people are complicating what happened last night (not necessarily you)
