So, aside from less-than-expected rushing attempts from McVay, how did the game unfold differently from what you expected? Or was that it?
I know that I didn't expect LaPorta to play and when he suited up I figured that'd be a problem for us. Sure enough, the Lions schemed him with Hoecht and we got burned for the TD.
I, too, thought that we were going to see more of Williams (particularly in the red zone). But he never really got on track as I think McStafford felt they had mismatches with Detroit's secondary.
I also thought that, it being a playoff game, the adjustments Morris made at the half to dial up more pressure on Goff would've come in the 2nd quarter.
