They need a much younger man who has a longer future. They'd be better off to get a guy with HC experience, but certainly not a guy as old as Pete. Not likely to do that.

What they will NOT do is pull from the Rams again (it was dumb enough the first time around just from the standpoint of being the Rams little brother).

The thing is, Spanos doesn't have a good reputation. I imagine the plum jobs will go first. That's probably Seattle and the Titans. Of course, the NFL is a copycat league and with the success of the LA Rams, San Fran, Miami by hiring young guys, that might set the stage for Spanos to take another shot at a newbie.

Ought to be interesting. HC decisions always are.


he actually has better energy that most of the other coaches that are 30 years younger than him and has proven track record of winning....add the USC connection and it wouldn't shock me if ends up getting a call if plan A falls through
