I know Pete's got fans, but they don't play the games.
Most of the players only know Pete as the Seahawk's coach.
The Chargers are not an overnight turn around. They don't know how to win. And, I think they have a number of deficits on both sides of the ball that are unlikely to get fixed in one off season.
They need a younger guy that will be around awhile....the Seahawks knew that about themselves. The Pats also knew that about themselves.
Now, should the Cowboys make an early exit from the playoffs? I could see that short term marriage. 1 or 2 years max.
