My main complaint with Morris is how our DB's either never develop, or seem to get worse the longer they play for him. Something I find baffling for a guy who played the position. That said, there is indication he might make a better head coach.
On the other hand, do either Pleasant or Henderson want to be DC's? Some guys are happy as position coaches, and in Pleasant's case, he actually got the axe in Detroit when he was their backs & pass game coordinator. Not the ringing endorsement.
Would McVay promote from within? that hasn't really been his track record.
