Staley failed to find answers to how offenses would attack his system. Now, if he gets the chance to redirect his thinking to new innovations...perhaps.
Personally, as much as he could add a valuable voice, Pleasant is the guy I have narrowly inching out Hendo for schematic reasons. As much as Hendo deserves a promotion, what he does so very well works best with that particular room. I want a playcaller who is intimately familiar with proper spacing in the passing game on the backend.
I think it's high time Sean promotes from within for once, but get a fresh idea guy to coach the DB's in collaboration with Aubrey.
