yes those 7 points were a factor, but you get into a lot of what ifs......The steelers were being buried for most of 3 qtrs....even with the missed points. The refs moving that ball up was HUGE at the 2 minute mark.....There was NO WAY that QB got that 1st down on that 4th down play, he was short and the refs moved the spot a good yard or 2 up. When that happened we were dead meat.
With 2 minutes left (and a fair/correct spot of the ball) and Staffords arm we could IMO have taken that game, not to mention how the D got it handed to them in that 4th qtr.
