our return coverage team(s). I also have more confidence in him than I did/do the guy he's replacing. We dug the hole when we chose against Gay.....This kicker is not that bad inside the 45 only missed really outside the 50. The way the O has gelled those long kicks are not a need anymore....save for a last gasp effort at the end of a game or a half.
The missed kicks are a real burden for sure, but at the same time IMO we have wasted a very solid building block in our punter with just a real, real bad coverage team.
