But we're not paying an edge, an OLT, or a CB at this point.

We don't have to pay Jones yet.

Paying this draft class will be our next big bump. By then Stafford Donald and Kupp will be gone.

Thing is, I can't see a reason not to pay him. Who are we missing out on? Even if we go big at Edge or CB, we should still have room for him and plenty to spare for a few others.

One issue I am attached to, is that, if we lose him, and pick up another free agent, that's ZERO comp pics.

We have Avila, 2 OTs ... and him, and we can draft around Shelton ... and have this line for Kyren and Matt? Please? I'll pay for that.
If Jackson needs to be replaced we can draft a redshirt this year or go big in the 1st round next year.
