The question of Dotson's value at his position is not broad enough.

It's not as-if the Rams can find a separate but equal right guard lower in free agency or as a third round draftee, for example, who will be of equal value to Dotson in keeping Stafford healthy and being the foundation to the run game - which also benefits Stafford's performance and health.

Dotson's value is tied to Stafford.
